About Us
Change, Credibility and Sincerity
are some of the words that describe us today. Over the past 45
years there have been many lessons that we have learnt, which
have bridged the gap between development theory and practice.
And it is from this practice that we know that without the
participation of our partners and the community no change can
ever be sustainable.
After in depth evaluation and discussion, IGSSS takes the steps
towards establishing a relationship with a partner organisation.
Their understanding and field related experiences are two essential
elements that determine the quality and strength of this relationship.
A continuous process of monitoring and feedback helps us determine
the need for future support. Capacity building is also provided
to partners and beneficiaries.
Our donors not only support us financially, but also guide us
on how best to get our job done.
| Our Vision |
| “A humane social order based on truth, justice, freedom,
equity and integrity of the whole of creation in which basic
human rights and the dignity of every individual are upheld,
in which the integrity of the family as a basic unit of the
community is strengthened, where power, resources and the
fruits of development are shared by all.” |
