Journalism Award- Ms. Patricia Mukhim

Ms. Patricia Mukhim, Vice-President of Indo-Global Social Service Society has been awarded ‘Excellence in the Field of Journalism by FLO, the Women Wing of FICCI on 26th February 2008 in Mumbai. This award is given to the women achievers of our Country who excels in their respective fields. The awardees are being selected after extensive research.

Earlier winners in the category of journalism include the likes of Barkha Dutt, Teesta Setalvad and Anita Pratab. This award is given to promote the achievements of the women and. Also, to give out the message to the people of our Country, that when women are empowered, they can achieve excellence, which is perceived to be male dominated.
