Partners

IGSSS’ philosophy of “Partnership in Development” drives every aspect of the organisation. We work in partnership with like-minded voluntary organisations at the grassroot level. Our work also involves partnering with donors to drive the process of change in India.

On the field, IGSSS has numerous partners in different corners of the country – ranging from Jammu & Kashmir to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and from the Northeastern states to Rajasthan. Every state is covered by an IGSSS representative (also known as a Field Executive) who has experience and understanding of the issues within that area. Our success lies in our partners who are highly committed to the cause and who work with a zeal that does not ebb under any circumstance. A common understanding and a strong rapport are other factors that contribute to a coordinated functioning.

IGSSS also has another level of partnership with its donors or collaborators. Our main donors are Misereor and German Agro Action from Germany, SKN and ICCO from the Netherlands, and DKA/KFB from Austria. IGSSS also undertakes consultancy studies for MIVA from Switzerland and for its main donors.
